Description

This meeting our Book Club will be discussing James, Percival Everett, 2024, pgs. 368. Everett brilliantly revisits Mark Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn from the perspective of the enslaved Jim, whose son is on the run with the presumed-dead Huck. Their wild trip down the Mississippi is full of wry social critique, humor and suspense.
