Grand-Slam Baseball Tennis
April 20 | 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. | Tennis Courts | Complimentary
Join your Head Teaching professional for an organized Grand Slam tournament uniquely combining both tennis and baseball!
Compete on a tennis court that has been modified to resemble a baseball field, complete with bases, a pitcher’s mound, and outfield boundaries! The objective of the tournament would be for players to hit tennis balls into designated areas of the court, analogous to hitting a baseball for a home run. Instead of serving the ball over a net, players would aim to hit the ball into different sections of the court to score points, with each section representing a different type of hit (e.g., single, double, triple, homerun). Players would take turns serving and returning the ball, to strategically place their shots to maximize their point-scoring opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet other players and test your skills for accuracy and strategy! Sets will be arranged by the pro based on skill and new balls will be provided. Join us for a morning of play that is sure to be a homerun and fan favorite!
